The purpose of these activities is to help develop the physical, moral, social, emotional & cultural development of our students.

        This is a whole school activity. We have 2 swimming pools - a 2 feet deep small pool for the little ones and a bigger 5 feet deep pool for everyone else. Coaching for girls is given separately by a lady swimming coach.

Silambam

 

Silambam

        Silambam is a weapon-based Indian martial art from Tamil Nadu, but also traditionally practised by the Tamil community of Sri Lanka and Malaysia. This is part of ECA. Students can opt for this activity.

Taekwondo

        Taekwondo is a Korean martial art. It combines combat and self-defense techniques with sport and exercise. Here, it is a part of ECA activity. Interested students can opt for it.

Yoga

        Yoga is an old discipline from India. Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation to improve physical & mental health. This is a whole school activity. Every student participates in it.

         Skating is a form of recreational activity as well as a sport. Here, it is part of ECA. Interested students can opt for it.

Aerobics 1

 

Aerobics

         Aerobics is a form of physical exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching and strength training routines with the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness). Here, it is taught as a part of ECA. Interested students can opt for it.
