The CBSE curriculum was originally developed to serve the educational needs of those students whose parents were employed in the Central Government and had frequently transferable jobs. However, it has since undergone many changes to its original structure and is now the most sought out curriculum in India.

To give a separate focus to the development of language, we have the following programs :
Qrius, a program for enhancing learning of Tamil through the method of story telling is given till Grade 2.
The Language Development Program, focusing on speaking good English with the right pronunciation and grammar is followed till Grade 3.
Hi-Tech Kids curriculum is being followed for Computer Science till Grade 5 and the IECD curriculum leading to Diploma certificates from the Bharathidasan University for Grades 6 to 8.
